A stop loss mode which only begins to trail when it would not close at a loss
Isn’t this way right now? It’s actually how trailing stop works.

I’m not sure if that’s accurate. As far as I understand trailing stop begins to trail as soon as the position is open, so it can trail at a loss. Can we get someone from PQ to comment on that perhaps?
It only trails in a positive direction, however, yes, it can still close at a loss.
As far as I understand the OP’s suggestion, it is that the SL should not move until it would trail at a zero/profitable result, then jump straight to it?
