Personally I like to take in consideration the backrest to evaluate strats. The top one in the list has a terrible backtest no idea why though.

Look at the bad backtests of number 1 and 2 ?!

Yes, good point. But I really prefer the real trading period as the backtest @ ProQuant seems unreliable.
The first strategy is running for 1 year already and looks stable. This foreward testing period is a much stronger indication that a strategy will continue to make profits

You are probably right in PG backtest being unreliable. I checked the list of Strats and most have poor backtest for some reason. Real results seem good still

nop, real results are poor
i tried and followed “elegant poitras” #2 in your list …
…poor real results, deleted.

Fund will be started next week! Still tweaking the fund and looking for good solid strategies. Feel free to share, thanks!

Just a curiosity question, how are you planning to run and manage this fund? i.e. can we be part of the fund? If yes, how would this work on PQ?

I guess we get a list of strategies to follow. Each strategy runs individually so it’s only a matter which ones you want to pick

@ashish1137 yes, you are free to subscribe to this fund. Just follow all strategies listed in the opening post. My advice is to follow all strategies with the same amount to diversify the risk.

I’ll update and finalize the listed strategies coming weekend. After that I’ll start using it and monitor the performance

How can we be part of the fund, following all trading strategies using real money or simulation?

Yes, you can start following all strategies. I’ll finalize the strategy list tomorrow. So better wait for tomorrow evening to follow the best strategies

Thanks Ruben!
Unfortunately not a great start this week. Probably the past election week was too volatile for some of the strategies.

I have been testing all these strategies for several weeks now and most of them are great!. Thanks a lot for creating this estructure based on points. This way it’s easier for everyone to understand the criteria to pick the best strategies, see the potential of ProQuant and appreciate the great work strategy managers are doing. Looking forward to seeing the results after all this election volatility.
